Film Session: Defensive Gate Positioning and Aggressive Second Attacks

In these film clips, you'll see examples of good and bad defensive positioning. Pay particular attention to the last clip and how the first two players (who are beat in) come out of their change of direction. They are not pointing towards the force lane. Then, watch how Hess, in the last part of the last clip, is beaten badly, but turns and points himself at the force lane. In the end, Hess is the player who is not beaten in because of his positioning.

On offense, pay attention to opportunities where lazy cutting could become more aggressive. Especially watch the chances where our players COULD just sprint deep after and incut and be open. These are "second attack" chances. USE THEM!
